CO2 extracts as a valuable addition to aromatherapy

Aromatherapists and other health care professionals that work with essential oils are becoming increasingly interested in the added value of CO2 extracts in their blends and formulations. CO2 extracts are made of many of the same plant sources we know from conventional essential oils and vegetable oils. They can be similar, but there are quite a few differences too, which can make it a challenge to use in everyday practice and formulations. There are also myths and (mis)conceptions about them. Are they always stronger and better? Do we always dose lower? What are the differences to take into account? In this short but clear presentation, Madeleine will explain how to make an informed choice which will help you incorporate some of the best natural extracts safely into aromatherapy.
